Torri Table

This low coffee table was inspired by the Torri gates found at the entrance to all Japanese Shinto temples.  It follows the proportion sizes of ancient Japanese building being half a Tatami mat square.

Built from Cherry and Japanned beech it is a practical table with space for modern clutter - magazines, papers, the remote etc while introducing a timeless and calming simplicity.
